Calum is an occupational therapist working with frail patients in the community.
He would like to learn more about how he can support his patients with making small behaviour changes so that they can boost their independence.

He takes a look at the Understanding Behaviour Change and Learning Behaviour Change toolkits on the website.

He explores the person-centred approaches framework and the EAST Behavioural Insights Tool.
He takes notes on key learnings from these resources and thinks about how he can make small changes to his home visits.
This includes taking a more personalised approach to writing his care plans and ensuring that the tools he provides to his patients are easy, accessible, social and timely.
Calum finds his patients respond well to the more personalised and simpler approach.

Calum then goes back to the BCDF and looks at the Delivering Behaviour Change toolkit and finds a resource to help with goal setting.
He emails this resource to himself and prints off to use on his home visits as a tool.
