Joanna is a Community Safety Team Leader working for a Fire Safety Team.

Joanna is tasked with upskilling her team to be able to have conversations about health and wellbeing with people during their fire safety home visits.

Joanna learns about the BCDF website while attending a conference on population health and prevention. She takes a look at the website on her mobile whilst at the conference and bookmarks it.

Joanna first clicks on the Workforce Level Assessment tool and completes the assessment.

The tool recommends Behaviour Change Level 1 training for her team, she then looks at the learning resources within the competency.

She takes note of a few online learning tools to share with her team, including the Making Every Contact Count eLearning and the All Our Health resource that provides a range of information on different health topics.

She shares the learning with her team who agree to complete the training.

They come together and discuss what they have learnt and share ideas of how they will put this into practice during their fire safety visits.
